Condit's entrance music is Rise Against - Hero Of War . A fine choice. Sea Rules will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donald Condit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sea Rules!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rules tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Condit counters by clinching up.
Rules is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Condit pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Condit turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Condit is looking to take a break and control but Rules is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rules closes the distance and clinches up with Condit, looking for a takedown. Rules pushes Condit against the cage but Condit circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Condit is pressed up against the cage. Rules has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Condit down to the mat. Condit avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Rules wants a takedown.
Rules tries to score a body lock takedown but Condit shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Rules drops down looking for an ankle pick but Condit pulls his leg out and moves away.

Condit knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rules on the ground.

Rules is not content to let Condit control the position.
Condit trying to mount his opponent but Rules defends it.

Condit has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Donald Condit just wasn't active enough.
Rules wants to clinch up but Condit keeps it at a distance.

The fight stays on the outside here - Rules looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Rules goes for a takedown in the clinch but Condit prevents it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rules managing to block the knees to the body from Condit.
Condit is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Rules blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Rules changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Condit fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Condit ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rules moves away.

And that's the end of the fight!
Donald Condit showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Condit has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
