The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Summers moves into the clinch.
Summers keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Assassin's efforts to push away.

Summers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Summers looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Assassin is fending him off so far but Summers persists. Nope, Assassin circles away and we're back to standing.
Assassin fails to land with a series of punches.
Summers checks a leg kick nicely.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Summers .
Assassin throws a head kick but Summers moves out of range.
Summers avoids the head kick by Assassin.
Assassin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Assassin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Assassin wants it to stay on the feet.
Alaskan Assassin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Summers .
Summers looks gassed!

Summers closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Assassin's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Summers is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Assassin is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Assassin has escaped and now he's on top!

Assassin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Summers wants to sweep here but Assassin controlling him for the moment.

Assassin drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Assassin as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Summers screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Assassin! Nice submission victory there!
