Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brutu Kalio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen Hustlin as his entrance music. Shawn Jackson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalio throws a body kick that misses.
Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kalio circles away quickly and effectively.

Jackson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Kalio wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.

Jackson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Kalio fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jackson to the ground. Kalio is now in Jackson's guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kalio connects with a nice short shot to Jackson's temple.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jackson has hold of Kalio's hands but Kalio slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jackson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kalio is taking a breather. Jackson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Kalio has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jackson pushes Kalio off looking to stand but Kalio dives back in and keeps control.
Kalio is nestled in close to Jackson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

That has opened up Shawn Jackson's cut even more.
Kalio working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Jackson is still in real trouble! Can Kalio finish him?
Kalio lands a big elbow - Jackson is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Kalio!
