Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Su Nami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piet Snot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nami comes to the cage accompanied by New York. Snot has chosen Lil Wayne - Drop the World as his entrance music. Su Nami has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nami throws a shot to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nami. Snot does a little dance to reset his feet.

Snot tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Snot looks up at the clock and then as Nami takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Snot smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Nami really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Snot wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nami keeps working.

Snot throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nami's waist but Nami gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Snot off to one side.
Su Nami seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nami throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nami catches Snot with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Nami stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nami wants it to stay on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Snot closes the distance and clinches up with Nami, looking for a takedown. Snot pushes Nami against the cage but Nami circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nami tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Snot was well out of range. Poor timing from Nami.

That was a close round but I would say that Su Nami will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nami's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Su Nami.

Snot changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nami tries to avoid it but Snot manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nami to the ground. Nami escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
