Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zak Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Huang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simmons comes to the cage accompanied by Kid cypher round 11. Huang comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Special Agent Huang kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huang keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Simmons gets caught flat footed, as Huang shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Huang throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Simmons works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Huang accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Huang gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Simmons shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Huang pinned against the cage. Huang gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Simmons shoots for a double leg takedown but Huang sprawls well. He's pushed Simmons's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zak Simmons. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Huang throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Huang connects with a good right hand that stumbles Simmons. Simmons circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Huang is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
George Huang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Simmons looks for a takedown but Huang sprawls well.

Simmons tries to sprawl but Huang drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Huang passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Simmons!

Huang working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Simmons looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Huang! Submission of the night perhaps?
