PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Faze Wrecker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Quaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wrecker comes into the arena with AC/DC - Chase the Ace blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quaid misses with a hook
and Wrecker counters with a nice body shot.
Quaid tries to clinch but Wrecker moves out of range.
Quaid shoots for a takedown but Wrecker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A nice leg kick lands there from Wrecker.

Wrecker cracks Quaid with a right hand to the side of the head.
Quaid shoots in looking for a takedown. Wrecker tries to sprawl out of it but Quaid keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wrecker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wrecker slips a straight right by Quaid.
Wrecker fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Quaid has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Wrecker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Quaid moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Quaid fails with an attempt to clinch.

Wrecker cracks Quaid with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Wrecker has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Quaid to stand back up!

Quaid glances at the clock... BAM! Wrecker nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Quaid crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Quaid is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
