Jones moves out of range as Edwards strikes.

Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Edwards swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Edwards is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jones's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jones's back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Edwards thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.

Jones turns into Edwards and is now in his guard.
Jones wants to control from the top but Edwards keeps moving.

Jones passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Edwards tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jones wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Jones decides to stand back up. Jones steps back and let's Edwards get back to his feet.
Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Edwards moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Edwards fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jones sprawls well initially but Edwards persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Edwards slows the pace down in half guard.

Edwards blocks the strikes from Jones.
Jones tries to kick Edwards off but Edwards keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Jones is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Edwards pulls his head out easily.
