Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cassio Venas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiro Oshioke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Venas's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Darude - Sandstorm (Wanderlei Silva Entrance Theme). Hiro Oshioke looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Venas is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Oshioke off. It looks like it's working - Oshioke slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Venas displaying calm under pressure there.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Oshioke has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Venas is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Venas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Venas keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Oshioke's head.

Oshioke escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Venas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Venas is in close to Oshioke's body, working some short punches and elbows.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cassio Venas will probably get the nod.
