Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Grant.
Grant tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nasty swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Grant fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nasty throws a head kick but Grant moves out of range.
Nasty is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Grant.

and Nasty counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Grant decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Grant is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Nasty reverses the position - he's now on top in Grant's guard.

Grant working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nasty doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nasty manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Grant has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nasty can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Grant is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Grant is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Nasty has his hands clasped together but Grant extends an breaks Nasty's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Grant.
