Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mr Bronze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Skyshriek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skyshriek has chosen Moonlight Sonata as his entrance music. Zack Skyshriek has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Mr Bronze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Zack Skyshriek!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skyshriek throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bronze looks to land a body kick but Skyshriek moved away.
Bronze scores with a sloppy right hand. Skyshriek should have avoided that one.
Skyshriek thuds his right hand into Bronze's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A chopping leg kick lands by Bronze.
Bronze misses with a hook. Skyshriek ducked under it nicely.
Skyshriek misses with a takedown
and Bronze counters with a nice leg kick.
Bronze attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Skyshriek throws a head kick but Bronze moves out of range.
Skyshriek throws a leg kick which misses Bronze's front leg but catches the back leg as Bronze tries to avoid it.
Bronze connects with a leg kick. Skyshriek looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Bronze closes the distance and clinches.

Bronze breaks from the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Skyshriek fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Skyshriek feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bronze pushes Skyshriek off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Skyshriek checks a leg kick.

Skyshriek takes a swing at Bronze's ribcage but misses.

Skyshriek misses with a series of wild punches.

Skyshriek gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Skyshriek lands with a left to the head.

Skyshriek is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Bronze's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Bronze really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bronze pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Skyshriek displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bronze.
Skyshriek throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Bronze lands a glancing blow to the side of Skyshriek's head.
Skyshriek checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Bronze tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Skyshriek paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Skyshriek has Bronze up against the cage in a clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Skyshriek misses with a punch on the inside.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Bronze tries to pull guard but Skyshriek holds him up against the cage and eventually Bronze drops back down to his feet.
A frustrated look appears on Skyshriek's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bronze is looking to break free of the clinch but Skyshriek has double underhooks.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Bronze swings wildly with an uppercut but Skyshriek uses good head movement to avoid it.

Skyshriek breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Skyshriek fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bronze manages to avoid it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Skyshriek waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bronze.
Skyshriek throws a body punch but Bronze moves out of range.
Bronze lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Skyshriek throws a body kick the misses
and Bronze counters with a left to the body.
Skyshriek shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mr Bronze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zack Skyshriek.
Skyshriek is looking to score with low kicks.
Skyshriek looks for the body kick but Bronze saw that one coming.
Bronze is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Bronze lands a head kick. Skyshriek smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Horrible takedown by Bronze or perhaps it was just good defense by Skyshriek which made him look bad.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Bronze lands a nice leg kick that just misses Skyshriek's sensitive parts.
Bronze throws a nice looking combination but Skyshriek bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Skyshriek looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Bronze doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Skyshriek tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bronze was well out of range. Poor timing from Skyshriek.
Skyshriek wants to clinch.
Bronze stuns Skyshriek with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Skyshriek blocks the body kick.
Skyshriek throws a series of punches but Bronze avoids them all with ease.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bronze shoots in but no luck this time.
Bronze tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Skyshriek was well out of range. Poor timing from Bronze.
Skyshriek slips a jab from Bronze.
Bronze throws a chopping leg kick but Skyshriek manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Mr Bronze will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Skyshriek is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bronze.

Skyshriek fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bronze.
Bronze takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Bronze moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Bronze with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A looping hook to the body misses from Skyshriek. Bronze does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bronze throws a leg kick but Skyshriek sees it coming and moves out of range.
Bronze dives in and grabs Skyshriek's left leg, looking for a takedown. Skyshriek pushes down on Bronze's head and hops out.

Skyshriek throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A clash of legs there as Skyshriek blocks the low kick.

Skyshriek has Bronze up against the cage in a clinch.
Bronze can't find room to land a body shot as Skyshriek controls the action.

Bronze's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Skyshriek tries to bum rush Bronze with a series of wild strikes but Bronze uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Skyshriek just misses with a punch to the body.
Mr Bronze is winning the standup battle so far.
Bronze throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bronze pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Skyshriek wants to clinch
and Bronze counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bronze uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Skyshriek.
Bronze misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bronze throws a hook but Skyshriek avoids it easily.

Skyshriek closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Skyshriek lands in his opponent's guard.
Bronze is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Bronze controls Skyshriek momentarily but Skyshriek frees himself.
Skyshriek with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Skyshriek won't allow Bronze to sweep him here.

Bronze working for a triangle but Skyshriek defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bronze has an active guard here but Skyshriek has managed to pass into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Skyshriek connects with a nice short shot to Bronze's temple.

Bronze is rocked!
Skyshriek is nestled in close to Bronze, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Oh Bronze is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Skyshriek working over Bronze with some ground and pound. Bronze looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Skyshriek lands a big elbow - Bronze is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Skyshriek!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zack Skyshriek!
Zack Skyshriek really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that GTI - 1337 sponsors VERSUS logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
