Lawrence scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
James throws a right hand that Lawrence ducks under and follows up with a left that Lawrence also avoids with ease.
Lawrence gets the takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
James dodges the ground and pound from Lawrence.
James prevents Lawrence from improving position.
James is looking to reverse the position.
Lawrence has worked his way into a potential kimura here. James is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Lawrence yanks on the arm and James is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Lawrence.
