PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Redfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clubber Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Redfield comes into the arena with Got the Life blaring out of the sound system. Lang has chosen thuggish ruggish as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lang moves into the clinch.
Lang has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Redfield is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
The referee calls for Redfield to work.

Lang tries to pull guard but Redfield won't allow it.

Clubber Lang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lang with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Redfield to score with a decent uppercut.

Lang changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Redfield tries to avoid it but Lang manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Redfield to the ground. Redfield escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Redfield lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Redfield.
Lang walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
