Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eder Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Ulyanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ulyanov has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ulyanov tries a low kick but Silva avoids it.
Ulyanov should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

and Ulyanov counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

and Ulyanov makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Silva can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ulyanov is looking to escape.
Silva is really struggling to control Ulyanov but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
