Peterson comes to the cage accompanied by Monday Night Football Theme. Adrian Peterson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Saul Laski!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laski fails with the takedown
and Peterson counters with a straight right hand.
Laski is looking to clinch.

and Peterson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Laski thinking.

Adrian Peterson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saul Laski.
Laski swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Laski fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Peterson, pushing him back against the cage.
Laski's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Peterson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Laski tries to close the distance and clinch but Peterson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Peterson cracks Laski with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Saul Laski has been cut.
Laski takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

and Peterson counters with a crisp one two that drops Laski! Peterson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Laski to his feet! Laski is in big trouble!
Laski is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Peterson moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Laski! Peterson continues to tee off on Laski, landing with a left and a right! Peterson connects with a right hand that leaves Laski sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Peterson!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Adrian Peterson!
