The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Belic feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Belic works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Penguin should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Penguin won't allow Belic to pass to mount.
Penguin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Belic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Penguin is trying to stand up here but Belic is controlling him well.
Penguin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Belic stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Penguin to get to his feet.

Belic instigates a clinch.

Belic manages to break the clinch.

Belic closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Penguin to the mat! Penguin manages to get full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Belic stops Penguin from standing up.

Belic is working Penguin over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Belic stands and throws Penguin's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Belic decides to stand back up. Belic steps back and let's Penguin get back to his feet.

Belic feints and as Penguin raises his hands in defense, Belic changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Belic gets to his feet - Penguin follows without any prompting.

Belic lands a big head kick that sends Penguin tumbling to the mat! Belic takes a step backwards and waves Penguin back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like King Penguin has been cut.
Penguin looks gassed!

Belic shoots in and gets a takedown into Penguin's guard.
Belic controls from within his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Belic working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Belic slips nicely into half guard.
Belic looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Belic works his way into full mount!
Belic has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Penguin wants to get back to his feet.

Penguin has given up his back.

Belic has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Penguin! Can he survive? No! He's out! Belic gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
