PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Boxing Comte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bj Becks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Comte might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Laser life by Blood Brothers. Bj Becks told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Boxing Comte!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bj Becks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Comte avoids the head kick by Becks.
Becks wants to clinch up but Comte keeps it at a distance.
Comte swats away the attempt to clinch by Becks.
Comte swings for the body but Becks moves out of range.
Comte lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Becks checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Becks ducks under a wild hook from Comte.
Comte throws a looping overhand right but Becks ducks down to avoid it.
Nice defenses there by Becks.
Comte swats away the attempt to clinch by Becks.
Comte swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Comte wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Becks fails with an attempt to clinch.

Becks gets a clinch.
Comte misses with a punch to the body.
Comte doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Comte misses with a hook to the ribs.
Becks is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Comte pulls him back up using the underhooks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Becks drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Comte gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Comte lands a nice uppercut.
Becks has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Comte is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Boxing Comte has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bj Becks.
Comte wants to break free but Becks has control.
Becks is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Comte to keep the fight standing.
Becks is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Comte gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Becks changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Comte fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Becks is looking to clinch.
Comte jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Comte throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Becks crashing down! Becks tries to stagger back to his feet but Comte just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Becks asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Boxing Comte!
Post fight, an emotional Boxing Comte said 'SO GLAD TO BE BACK! Man, I first manager contacted me and gave me another chance. Man, I'm old and deteriorating but, bitch, I can still win!'.
