Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donovan Rudy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Welcome to the Terrordome. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rudy lands with a right hand.

It looks like Rocky Jones has been cut.
Rudy misses with a wild combination.

Jones closes the distance and pushes Rudy back into the cage.
Jones can't find room to land a body shot as Rudy controls the action.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones misses with a short punch on the inside.
Jones is trying to drag Rudy to the mat but Rudy just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Jones tries for a takedown but Rudy manages to get underhooks.

Rudy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jones displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rudy throws out the jab.
Rudy throws an overhand right that lands on Jones's shoulder, as Jones tries to avoid the shot.
Jones fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rudy throws a big shot that misses.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jones.
Jones moves out of range of the strikes.
Rudy scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Jones defending well as Rudy loads up on a big left hand.
Rudy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jones just misses with a punch to the body.
Donovan Rudy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rudy darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Jones is looking to clinch.
Rudy lands the left hand.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Rudy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rudy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Donovan Rudy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Jones.
Rudy works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rudy avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rudy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rudy.
Jones takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rudy closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Jones! Rudy dives in looking to finish! Jones is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
