Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mathew Mattenbauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarek Stamm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stamm has chosen Beton!! as his entrance music. Jarek Stamm will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jarek Stamm!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mattenbauer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stamm lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mattenbauer at a distance.
Mattenbauer moves out of range of the strikes.
Mattenbauer waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Stamm.
Mattenbauer throws a poor cross that misses
and Stamm counters with a left and a right that stings Mattenbauer.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mattenbauer takes a swing at Stamm's ribcage but misses.
A jab from Stamm does it's job there.
Mathew Mattenbauer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mattenbauer takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Stamm connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Stamm works the jab nicely.
Mattenbauer finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A combination from Stamm does no damage.
Mattenbauer takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Stamm leaves Mattenbauer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Mattenbauer shoots in looking for a takedown. Stamm tries to sprawl out of it but Mattenbauer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stamm manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mattenbauer.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mathew Mattenbauer. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Stamm bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Stamm connects with a looping right hand.
Stamm swinging wildly here.
Stamm keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Stamm will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mattenbauer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stamm swivels and escapes.
Mattenbauer throws a jab but it's blocked by Stamm.
Mattenbauer throws a low kick, looking for Stamm's leg but Stamm calmly moves out of range.

Mattenbauer scores a takedown into full mount!
The referee warns Stamm that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stamm's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Mattenbauer with shots to the head and body - Stamm looks very uncomfortable down there.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stamm can do anything to dispel that myth.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stamm is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Mattenbauer is landing with some decent strikes but Stamm is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mattenbauer tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Stamm in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

It looks like Jarek Stamm has been cut.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jarek Stamm's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
