Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ringo Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrel Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spar comes into the arena with i Get Knocked Down, But i Get Up Again blaring out of the sound system. Sackett is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Highway to Hell. Tyrel Sackett has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ringo Spar's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ringo Spar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyrel Sackett!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sackett takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Spar lands with a nice body kick.
Spar bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Spar pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sackett tries to land a front kick but Spar steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Sackett slips under a jab from Spar.
Sackett sizes up Spar with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sackett blocks a head kick by Spar.
Nice cross by Sackett.
Sackett tries to bum rush Spar with a series of wild strikes but Spar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sackett goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Sackett misses with a hook. Spar ducked under it nicely.
Sackett lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Sackett gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Spar to score an easy takedown into full guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Spar is looking to work some ground and pound but Sackett has wrist control.

Sackett stands up over Spar, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Sackett is working Spar over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Spar wants to stand up but Sackett is controlling him.
Sackett passes Spar's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Sackett not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Spar pushes Sackett off and gets back to his feet.
Sackett fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Spar on the side of the head.
Sackett jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Spar sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sackett tries a low kick but Spar avoids it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Spar tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Spar gets a takedown into half guard.
Spar is stalling here. Sackett is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Spar seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Sackett has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
You can see the frustration on Spar's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The strikes coming from Sackett are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Sackett takes a little break here. Spar wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tyrel Sackett will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Sackett throws a nice looking combination but Spar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Spar takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Spar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sackett cracks Spar with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Sackett lands a big head kick that sends Spar tumbling to the mat! Sackett takes a step backwards and waves Spar back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Ringo Spar has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sackett shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sackett throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Spar takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Oh Spar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sackett digs a good hook to Spar's body.
Sackett cracks Spar with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Spar falls to his knees and Sackett doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyrel Sackett!
Tyrel Sackett decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
