Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Janko Kos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Hopler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hopler has chosen Bodies (Let the Bodies Hit the Floor) as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hopler avoids the head kick by Kos.
Kos displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hopler throws out the jab.
Hopler smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Hopler feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Hopler stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Kos fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kos is breathing heavily.
Kos tries to clinch
and Hopler counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Janko Kos has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kos throws a half hearted mid kick.
Hopler misses with a few strikes there.
Kos throws a sloppy head kick
and Hopler counters with a left and a right that stings Kos.
Kos is rocked!
Kos is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Hopler just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Kos has gone limp and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sammy Hopler!
