Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cesar Romero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zilla Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Romero comes into the arena with T Pain & Hot Dollar - Who The Fuck Is That blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kong shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Romero napping and manages to drive through into side control!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Kong lands some shots froms side control.
Romero wants to control but Kong postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kong is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Romero is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Romero manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Romero postures up in Kong's guard and throws a big left but Kong blocks it.

Kong escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Romero gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kong is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kong is bucking up trying to escape but Romero cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Romero throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kong because Romero loaded up on that one.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's time! Romero's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Romero throws out a loose jab but Kong uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kong uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Romero.
Kong is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Romero.

Romero closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Romero needs to keep his hands up - Kong had a free shot at his head there.

and Romero makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kong lands a big right hook! Romero looks hurt but is still standing! Kong lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Romero falls down and Kong dives in with a huge hammer fist! Romero's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Kong runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Zilla Kong decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
