Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between nate bananahammock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and xiao xiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). nate bananahammock looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

xiao gets a clinch.
bananahammock looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

xiao has picked bananahammock up - he's going for a ride! xiao dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
xiao passes to side control.
bananahammock looks to move to half guard but instead xiao has passed into mount! Damn!

xiao shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in bananahammock's guard.

xiao fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with bananahammock, pushing him back against the cage.
bananahammock wants to break the clinch but can't.
xiao creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
bananahammock goes for a takedown attempt but xiao pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

xiao feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Despite being in the dominant position, xiao xiao just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

bananahammock jumps guard but xiao stands there with bananahammock around his waist. bananahammock gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

bananahammock has control of xiao's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and xiao regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Well xiao has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
