Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dalston Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evander Tripp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marley comes to the cage accompanied by Kottonmouth Kings - Can Anybody Hear Me. Tripp has chosen Bad Company - The Nine as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tripp chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Marley can pounce on him.
Tripp sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Marley throws a hook to the side of Tripp's head but Tripp sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Marley pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Marley misses with a series of wild punches.
Marley throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tripp on the side of the head.
Marley moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

A slapping leg kick lands for Marley.

Marley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tripp paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Marley misses with a body shot.
Tripp shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Marley eats them both and turns towards Tripp to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Marley lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Marley throws a lazy right hand but Tripp sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Tripp missing with a left hand there. Marley was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tripp takes one to the chin there.
A jab from Marley misses.
Marley on the wrong end of a nice hook.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dalston Marley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Marley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Tripp takes a jab right on the kisser.
Tripp throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Marley throws a poor cross that misses
and Tripp counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Marley lands a nice leg kick that just misses Tripp's sensitive parts.

Marley throws a jab when Tripp was well out of range.
Marley looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tripp connects with a single shot there.
Marley throws a nice outside leg kick.
Tripp misses with a body shot.
Good leg kick by Marley there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dalston Marley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marley buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tripp looks gassed!
Tripp fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Both fighters circling a little - Marley finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Tripp takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Marley listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Tripp throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Marley lands with a thumping leg kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Marley darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Tripp takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dalston Marley dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Tripp takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Marley lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Marley cracks Tripp with an open hand slap.
Tripp walks straight into a right hand from Marley - that's dropped him! Marley jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Tripp from any more punishment! Tripp complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
