Excellent takedown into side control there by Veenstra.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Veenstra is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dewit is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Veenstra working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Veenstra wants to control but Dewit is keeping him busy.
Veenstra decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dewit to his feet.
Veenstra closes the distance and clinches.

Veenstra jumps into guard, dragging Dewit to the mat.

Dewit is posturing up here but Veenstra has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Dewit tries to roll out but it's too tight and Dewit has to tap! Slick submission there by Veenstra!
