Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Farquaad rushes Carneiro and presses him up against the cage.

Farquaad turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Farquaad looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carneiro managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Farquaad.
Carneiro pushes Farquaad away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Farquaad gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Carneiro is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Farquaad off and has taken his back!
Farquaad trying to control the hands but Carneiro won't let him.
You can see the frustration on Farquaad's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Carneiro looking to break Farquaad's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Farquaad remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Carneiro will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Carneiro is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Carneiro keeps control of the position as Farquaad tries to break free.
Farquaad breaks Carneiro's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Carneiro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Farquaad doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Carneiro is tightening it up a little... Farquaad has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Farquaad reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Farquaad taps out! Nice BJJ there by Carneiro!
