The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Stryker.
Mithra swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Charles Stryker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mithra fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stryker thows a body shot but no joy.
Stryker cracks the inside of Mithra's front leg.
Stryker scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mithra doesn't seem bothered though.
Stryker tests Mithra's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Stryker will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Stryker lets loose with a powerful body kick. Mithra will feel that in the morning.

Stryker misses with a low kick.
Stryker goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Stryker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mithra.
Mithra rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stryker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stryker swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stryker looks to score with a jab to the body but Mithra is just out of range.
Mithra swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Stryker connects with a body shot that sends Mithra's belly button to the back.
Mithra jabs at Stryker's body.
Mithra blocks a head kick by Stryker.
Mithra bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Stryker scores with a jab. Mithra acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Mithra loads up on a big right hand but Stryker slips the punch.

Stryker lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Stryker rushes Mithra and presses him up against the cage.
Mithra works on Stryker's body with a couple of short punches.

Mithra can't find room to land a body shot as Stryker controls the action.
Mithra pushes Stryker back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stryker lands a good knee to the midsection. Mithra won't want to take too many of those.
A head punch on the inside from Stryker fails to land.

Mithra breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mithra throws a sloppy head kick and Stryker moves out of range easily.
Mithra smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Stryker takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Mithra avoids the head kick by Stryker.
Mithra misses with a right hand
and Stryker counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Stryker scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Mithra throws a hook but Stryker avoids it easily.
Mithra scores with a three punch combo!
Mithra connects with a nice looking jab.
Stryker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mithra scores with a nice right hand.

Stryker steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Mithra. That one must have hurt.
Mithra scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stryker doesn't seem bothered though.
A head kick misses from Stryker.
Stryker throws out a powerful jab.
Stryker is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Mithra rather than just go for the knockout.

Stryker closes the distance and pushes Mithra back into the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mithra is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stryker is aware though and is defending well.

Mithra is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Stryker rolls with it to try and escape but Mithra cranks on the arm and Stryker is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
