Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Claude Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Lombard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lombard comes into a darkened arena with his song building. DJ Quik - Tell A Bitch (feat.Suga Free & Jake Steed)) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harper moves into range and clinches up with Lombard.
Lombard trying to control the position but instead, Harper has worked for underhooks and has pushed Lombard into the cage.
Lombard has had enough of the clinch but Harper keeps him there for the moment.
Harper lands with a light punch inside.

Harper tries to throw a body punch but Lombard avoids it by throwing Harper back against the cage.

Lombard is trying to force a seperation but Harper has the dominant position.
Still in the clinch, Harper scores with a nice short uppercut.
Lombard looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Harper tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Lombard is able to avoid easily.
Lombard throws out a loose jab but Harper uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lombard throws out a leg kick but Harper moves out of range and Lombard only half commits.

Harper has closed the distance and engaged Lombard in a clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Lombard.
Harper pushes Lombard back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Harper lands with a left to the head.
Harper lands an uppercut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Harper pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Harper takes the fight into the clinch.
Harper lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Harper wants the takedown. Lombard is fighting it off but Harper persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Lombard's guard against the cage.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Harper lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Lombard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harper. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Harper will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Harper arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Lombard's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
