The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn throws out a loose jab but Macale uses good head movement to avoid it.
Macale throws a nice inside leg kick.
Macale looks for the body kick but Gunn saw that one coming.
Gunn loads up on a big right hand but Macale slips the punch.

Macale ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Macale throws a front kick that sends Gunn stumbling back into the cage.
Gunn is breathing heavily.
Macale turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Macale feints and then cracks Gunn's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gunn down.

A lazy left from Macale finds it's target.

Macale fakes the leg kick and cracks Gunn in the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Macale throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gunn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Macale connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Macale throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Macale feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gunn's calf.
Macale turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Macale chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Gunn shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Macale keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Macale dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gunn. That did some damage!
Macale throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Macale throws a head kick but Gunn moves out of range.
Macale lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Gunn is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

That kick from Macale tenderised Gunn's leg. Gunn is trying to keep his angry face on.
Gunn walks forward, straight into a front kick from Macale.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Macale, right into the meat.

Macale sizes up Gunn with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Nice uppercut lands for Macale. That snapped Gunn's head back.
Tiao Macale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Macale lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Macale tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gunn tries to move into range but Macale moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Macale throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Macale scores with a jab. Gunn acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Macale getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Gunn is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Macale cracks Gunn with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Macale has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gunn to stand back up!
Oh Gunn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Macale throws a quick head kick that knocks Gunn silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Macale is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
