Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mitch Layden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junichi Emmeraldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emmeraldo has chosen Mystic Forces as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Mitch Layden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Junichi Emmeraldo!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Layden scores with a hook.
Emmeraldo tries for a takedown but Layden circles away easily
and Layden counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Emmeraldo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Layden circles away.

Layden moves into the clinch.
Emmeraldo is trying to drag Layden to the mat but Layden just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Mitch Layden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junichi Emmeraldo.

Layden gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Emmeraldo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Layden can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Emmeraldo has his foot on Layden's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Layden works his way back into a safe position though.

Emmeraldo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Layden gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Layden is looking for a kimura but Emmeraldo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Layden to get the leverage.
Layden works his way into full mount!
BOOM! Layden connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Emmeraldo is rocked!

It looks like Junichi Emmeraldo has been cut.
Layden postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Emmeraldo badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Layden around the waist but Layden pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Layden is the winner by TKO! Layden jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
