Shrew kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is In The Morning. Brown is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Monster. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown connects with a jab.
Shrew swings for the body but Brown moves out of range.
Brown staying out of range there.

Brown instigates a clinch.

Brown breaks the clinch.
Brown lunges at Shrew with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Shrew's hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Shrew scores with a crisp jab that stopped Brown in his tracks.

It looks like David Brown has been cut.
Brown moves away from the strike by Shrew.
Brown tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Shrew manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Shrew fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brown manages to avoid it.
Shrew thows a body shot but no joy.
Shrew lands a nice shot to the body.

Brown uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shrew.

Brown moves in looking to clinch but Shrew pushes him off.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Brown is defended easily by Shrew.
Shrew ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brown moves away.

Brown wants to stand but Shrew has his arm trapped.
Shrew can't do much from the bottom here.

Brown goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Brown uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shrew.
Shrew ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Brown with a lazy takedown attempt
and Brown takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Brown throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shrew.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Shrew goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Shrew misses with a punch to the body.

Brown blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Shrew scores with a shoulder strike.
A short uppercut from Shrew.
Shrew is leaning against Brown and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Shrew creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Shrew lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Brown wants to break the clinch but can't.
Shrew pushes Brown back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

That has opened up David Brown's cut even more.
Shrew misses with a short punch on the inside.
Shrew goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Brown tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Shrew lands a right hand.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Shrew works on Brown's body with a couple of short punches.

The referee is keeping an eye on Shrew - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Brown looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Shrew connects with a jab.
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Shrew paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nice uppercut lands for Shrew. That snapped Brown's head back.
Brown has his takedown stuffed
and Shrew counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
David Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shrew lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Brown out cold! Brown is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the ropes! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
