Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Omi Shuai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo SIlva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shuai comes to the cage accompanied by Xiaolin Showdown. Paulo SIlva will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SIlva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shuai sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten SIlva somewhat.
SIlva looks to clinch

and Shuai holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Shuai stops a takedown attempt from SIlva.
SIlva drops down looking for an ankle pick but Shuai pulls his leg out and moves away.
Omi Shuai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paulo SIlva.

SIlva shoots in and bounces Shuai off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

SIlva drops back looking for a leg! Shuai is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Shuai manages to kick SIlva off! SIlva jumps back into Shuai's guard.

SIlva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Shuai might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

SIlva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and SIlva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
SIlva works a leg free and moves into half guard.
