Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Willie Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lieutenant Rockwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rockwood has chosen War as his entrance music. Willie Davidson looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lieutenant Rockwood!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davidson throws a head kick that misses.
Rockwood shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Davidson as he avoids it easily.
Willie Davidson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rockwood avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rockwood misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rockwood shoots for a double leg takedown but Davidson sprawls well. He's pushed Rockwood's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Willie Davidson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lieutenant Rockwood.

Davidson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Davidson lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Rockwood looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Davidson is defending well. Rockwood quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Davidson has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Rockwood celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Lieutenant Rockwood decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
