Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martin Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Fatsack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone comes to the cage accompanied by National Anthem. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Martin Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dick Fatsack!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooh a lovely combination from Stone sends Fatsack down but not out. Stone dives into side control looking to finish.


Fatsack is rocked!


It looks like Dick Fatsack has been cut.
Fatsack wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Fatsack is still in real trouble! Can Stone finish him?
Fatsack tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Fatsack seems to have recovered his senses.
You can see the frustration on Fatsack's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Fatsack sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Fatsack won't allow Stone to pass to mount.
Stone content to control rather than advance.
Fatsack is trying to stand back up but Stone is controlling him

Stone throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Stone in particular looking to stall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stone seems to be looking for submissions.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Stone tries to clinch there but Fatsack circles away.
Stone tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fatsack swivels and escapes.

Stone decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Stone is breathing heavily.
Stone is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Fatsack is trying to get back to full guard.

Stone seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Stone sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Fatsack defending well though.
Stone looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Stone perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Stone working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Fatsack won't allow Stone to pass to mount.
Stone lands with a punch from half guard.
Fatsack wants to get back to full guard.
Stone takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fatsack trying to control here.
Stone stalling away here and it's allowed Fatsack to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Fatsack is looking to stand up but Stone isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fatsack has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Stone is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Fatsack.
Fatsack has control of an arm but Stone manages to advance to Stone's back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Fatsack clinches up with Stone and pushes him back against the cage.
Stone is trying to break the clinch but Fatsack has him pressed against the cage.

Fatsack breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Martin Stone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fatsack lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Dick Fatsack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stone rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fatsack moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fatsack scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Fatsack tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Fatsack moves in looking to clinch but Stone pushes him off.
Stone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fatsack but Fatsack pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Fatsack shoots and misses
and Stone counters with a series of strikes. Fatsack will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Fatsack counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stone won't be happy with that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Fatsack decides to stand back up. Fatsack steps back and let's Stone get back to his feet.

Stone closes the distance and clinches.
Fatsack lands an elbow just above Stone 's eye.
Stone is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Fatsack lands a knee to the body.

Fatsack breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Stone shoots in and bounces Fatsack off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fatsack is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stone is controlling him.
Fatsack looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Fatsack can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Stone controls the pace.
Stone trying to move into half guard but instead Fatsack has managed to sweep!

Stone throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Stone's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Dick Fatsack showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Stone is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Fatsack can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

You get the feeling that Fatsack really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Martin Stone overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Fatsack tries to lock up and control but Stone gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Fatsack is wriggling around but Stone manages to pass to half guard.
Fatsack is looking to improve his position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Stone prevents Fatsack from standing back up.
Fatsack is looking for a sweep. Stone is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Stone has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Stone wants to free his trapped foot but Fatsack is holding on for dear life with his legs.

And that's the end of the fight!
Martin Stone showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Stone has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
