The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter throws a front kick that sends Henderson stumbling back into the cage.

and Carter counters with a stiff right hand.

Carter feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Henderson's calf.
Carter pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Carter avoids the head kick by Henderson.

Henderson tries a head kick but it misses.
Henderson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Henderson moves in looking to clinch but Carter pushes him off.

Carter connects with an inside leg kick.

Cale Carter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Henderson is breathing heavily.

and Carter counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Henderson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Carter throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Carter's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Carter duly obliges.

It looks like Ben Henderson has been cut.
Henderson gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Carter gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
