Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gray Ghost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Cutler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gray Ghost has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cutler circles away from the clinch attempt.

Cutler gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ghost to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Ghost working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Ghost stands and throws Cutler's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Cutler tries to bench press Ghost off him but Ghost keeps the position.
Ghost is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Cutler will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Cutler takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

It looks like Jay Cutler has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cutler is looking for a sweep.
Ghost in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Cutler wants to control but Ghost postures up.

Ghost tries for a kimura but Cutler is defending well.
Ghost controlling from side mount.
Cutler is looking to regain half guard here but Ghost keeps moving and retains side control.
Cutler looking for a sweep but Ghost has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Ghost gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Ghost feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Cutler can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ghost controls the pace.
Ghost has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Cutler controls Ghost momentarily but Ghost frees himself.

Cutler doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Ghost showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gray Ghost.
Ghost avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A head kick misses from Ghost.
Ghost tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cutler paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cutler fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ghost keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Ghost shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cutler manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Cutler has a closed guard, preventing Ghost from standing up.
Ghost wants to control from the top but Cutler keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gray Ghost.
Ghost slaps away a takedown attempt from Cutler, before circling back to the center of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Ghost misses with a body shot.

Cutler closes the distance and clinches.

Ghost escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cutler doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Ghost counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cutler won't be happy with that.
Cutler tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

That has opened up Jay Cutler's cut even more.
Cutler is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Ghost.
Cutler can't escape the position.

I would not like to be Cutler right now.

Cutler is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Ghost gets his way!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cutler is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Ghost.
Ghost is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Cutler. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
