Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vick Armstrong!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Armstrong counters by clinching up.
Kelly tries a body shot but Armstrong blocks it.
Armstrong throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Kelly really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kelly tries to land knees in the clinch but Armstrong avoids the damage to the body.
Armstrong manages to break the clinch.
Kelly tries to land a leg kick but Armstrong saw it coming and moves away.
Armstrong closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Armstrong lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kelly backwards.
Stalling in the clinch from Armstrong.
Armstrong keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kelly's efforts to push away.
Kelly takes a knee to the side of the body.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Armstrong unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Kelly gets control of Armstrong's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kelly will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Armstrong's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Armstrong wants to pass the guard but Kelly is keeping the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of John Terence Kelly.
Kelly throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Armstrong.
Armstrong lands a head shot.
Kelly swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Armstrong.
Kelly wants to clinch but Armstrong slips to the side
and Armstrong counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Armstrong slips a straight right by Kelly.
Armstrong lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kelly's sensitive parts.
Kelly throws a left and a right that both miss
and Armstrong counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Armstrong.
Armstrong pushing down on Kelly's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Armstrong has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Armstrong has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kelly is desperately trying to improve his position but Armstrong has a good base and remains in mount.
Armstrong looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Kelly covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
