PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antti Sumiala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Danzig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danzig loads up on a big right hand but Sumiala slips the punch.
Danzig fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Danzig takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Max Danzig has been cut.

Danzig moves into range and clinches up with Sumiala.
Sumiala wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Danzig has him pressed against the cage.
Danzig has Sumiala pressed against the cage, preventing Sumiala from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Danzig scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Sumiala shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Danzig eats them both and turns towards Sumiala to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Sumiala tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Danzig manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sumiala lands a nice shot that snaps Danzig's head back.
Sumiala lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Danzig is rocked!
Danzig is looking to clinch.

Sumiala fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Danzig to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Danzig looks to clinch but Sumiala throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Danzig taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
