Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Veles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Ennio Morricone - The Return of Ringo. Veles has chosen Beware by Deftones as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dante Veles!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones scores a takedown into full mount!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Jones jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Veles is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Veles and Jones has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Veles is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Jones's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Jones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Veles is just riding it out for now. Jones eventually gives up the hold.

Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Veles sprawls well. Veles wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.

Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Veles sprawls well. Veles wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.
Peter Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Veles connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


It looks like Peter Jones has been cut.
Jones finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Veles throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Veles's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
