The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eriksson shoots for a double leg takedown but Hunter sprawls well. He's pushed Eriksson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mikael Eriksson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eriksson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Eriksson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Eriksson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Hunter. That one must have hurt.
Eriksson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hunter lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Hunter stuffs the takedown attempt from Eriksson. Eriksson gets slowly back to his feet.

A punch lands to the side of Eriksson 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Whack! Hunter lands a heavy head kick that drops Eriksson. The ref tackles Hunter to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Eriksson was done.
