PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iso Fedex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niklas Zetterberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Niklas Zetterberg was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zetterberg keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Fedex fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Zetterberg goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Iso Fedex has been cut.
Fedex closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zetterberg circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Iso Fedex. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zetterberg changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fedex tries to avoid it but Zetterberg manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fedex to the ground. Fedex escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Zetterberg throws a right and a left that Fedex avoids nicely.
A combination from Zetterberg does no damage.
Niklas Zetterberg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zetterberg shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Zetterberg was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Zetterberg blocks Fedex's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Fedex has decided that throwing punches whilst being mounted is the best he can manage just now.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zetterberg.

Fedex darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fedex is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Zetterberg seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fedex does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Fedex is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Zetterberg's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Zetterberg's back!

Fedex pushes a forearm under Zetterberg's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Zetterberg is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
