The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for McGruger, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McGruger connects with a good right hand that stumbles Boyka. Boyka circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Yuri Boyka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McGruger connects with a nice short shot to Boyka's temple.
Boyka is not content to let McGruger control the position.

Boyka has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for McGruger. Oh but Boyka has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! McGruger goes limp - he's gone! Boyka jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
