Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pepe LePew!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Greene!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Greene, right into the meat.
Greene lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Nice cross by Greene.
Danny Greene seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

LePew drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

LePew drops back looking for a leg! Greene is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Greene manages to kick LePew off! LePew jumps back into Greene's guard.
Greene is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst LePew is controlling him.
Greene trying to control the position.

LePew is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
LePew throwing strikes but missing.

Greene keeping full guard, as LePew tries to pass.
LePew passes Greene's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Greene tries to roll over but LePew keeps him under control.

LePew is working for a kimura but Greene is defending it quite comfortably.
Greene is trying to stand up here but LePew is controlling him well.
Greene wants to improve his position but LePew is controlling well.
Greene wants to get back to his feet.

LePew is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Greene defends it well.

LePew is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

LePew is working for a submission of some sort.
Greene trying to control here.
Greene is positioning himself well to prevent LePew advancing to mount.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Greene can do anything to dispel that myth.

LePew seems to be working for a kimura but Greene defends the submission attempt.

Greene is looking for a sweep. LePew is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

LePew won't allow Greene to get back to his feet.

LePew wants to pass to mount but Greene is defending the position.
Greene really doesn't want to stay on the ground with LePew. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

LePew is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Greene is just riding it out for now. LePew eventually gives up the hold.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Greene is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

LePew is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Greene has managed to free his arm - good work.
Greene moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
LePew trying to control but Greene is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pepe LePew dominated that round.
That's time! LePew's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


LePew on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Greene is looking to slow LePew down with leg kicks.
Greene fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt LePew.
LePew on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Greene. Greene obviously looking to wear him down.
LePew dodges the punch combination from Greene.
LePew shoots in but no luck this time.
Greene lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Greene misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from LePew.

LePew throws a low kick but Greene avoids it.
Danny Greene is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Greene lands with a thumping leg kick.
LePew tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Greene lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Greene.
Greene misses with a low kick.
LePew takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Greene goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Greene wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A cross from Greene lands.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Greene connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Greene cracks LePew with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Greene throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by LePew.


LePew is rocked!
Greene scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Oh LePew is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Greene lands a nice hook to LePew's body. LePew takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
LePew takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Greene fails to land with a series of punches.
Greene works LePew's body with a nice hook.
Greene ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
LePew ducks right into an uppercut from Greene.
Greene displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Greene lets loose with a powerful body kick. LePew will feel that in the morning.

Greene lands with a straight right. LePew didn't see that one coming.
An inside leg kick lands from Greene.
LePew has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from LePew there as he acknowledges the shot.
No luck for LePew with that takedown attempt.
Greene chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Greene lands with a right that hurts LePew. LePew looks to clinch but Greene throws a short knee that drops LePew. This one is all over!
