Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Horwitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sanya Mamonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Horwitz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Iron Maiden - Trooper. Daniel Horwitz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horwitz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mamonov.
Horwitz throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Mamonov counters with a big head kick but Horwitz shrugs it off.
Daniel Horwitz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horwitz connects with a nice looking jab.
Mamonov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Horwitz scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Horwitz throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Mamonov works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Mamonov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Horwitz is working away from the top position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Horwitz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mamonov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Horwitz's guard.
Horwitz on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Horwitz tries to get out of the position.

Mamonov wants to control from the top but Horwitz keeps moving.
