The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pritchard misses with a wild body shot.
Pritchard throws a lazy right hand but Giant sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pritchard throws a front kick that sends Giant stumbling back into the cage.
Pritchard ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Giant thows a left - swing and a miss!
Giant throws a low kick but Pritchard moves out of range easily.
Giant uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pritchard.
Giant throws a leg kick but Pritchard moved away.
Pritchard throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Giant on the side of the head.
Giant throws a body punch but Pritchard moves out of range.
Giant keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Giant takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Giant buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Giant checks a leg kick.
A jab from Pritchard misses.
Giant looks for the body kick but Pritchard saw that one coming.

Pritchard has managed to clinch.

Giant is trying to push Pritchard away but Pritchard has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Pritchard tries to work over Giant's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Giant has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Giant tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Pritchard avoids it.
Giant throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Pritchard blocks it with crossed arms.

Pritchard's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Giant takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Pritchard throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

and Giant counters with a low kick, right behind Pritchard 's knee.
Giant throws a half hearted mid kick.
Giant shoots in looking for a takedown. Pritchard tries to sprawl out of it but Giant keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pritchard manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Giant shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Pritchard misses with a wild body shot.
Giant takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Pritchard buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Giant doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Pritchard throws a low kick but Giant moves out of range easily.
Randal Pritchard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Giant gets off balance looking for a body kick

and Pritchard counters with a crisp one two that drops Giant! Pritchard thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Giant to his feet! Giant is in big trouble!

Giant is rocked!
Pritchard cracks Giant with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Giant tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Pritchard pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Giant is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
