The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaia shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Aybar drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kaia had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Aybar is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kaia Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Aybar's back instead.

Kaia is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
