Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Canciatta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mario Canciatta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joe Red!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Red uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Canciatta.

Red wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

It looks like Joe Red has been cut.

Red continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.

Canciatta on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Canciatta tries to get out of the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Red is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Canciatta defends it well.

Red is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Red swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Red escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Canciatta counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Red is lucky that one didn't land flush.

A looping hook to the body misses from Canciatta. Red does a little dance to reset his feet.

Red wants to break free but Canciatta has control.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Red jumps guard but Canciatta stands there with Red around his waist. Red gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
