Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lo Fat Ho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Evers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jan Evers looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lo Fat Ho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jan Evers!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evers wants to clinch up but Ho keeps it at a distance.
A punch combination from Evers misses.

Ho fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Evers, pushing him back against the cage.
Ho stops a takedown attempt from Evers.

Ho lands a takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Evers wants to sweep but no luck.
Evers pulls Ho in to control the position.
Ho might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Ho avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Evers looks gassed!
Ho trying to control but Evers is working from the bottom.
Evers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ho sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Ho really is a fat lump.

Ho postures up and lands a big shot to Evers's brow.
Ho's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Ho trying to control the position from guard on top but Evers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Lo Fat Ho just wasn't active enough.

and Evers cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Evers closes the distance and clinches up with Ho, looking for a takedown. Evers pushes Ho against the cage but Ho circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Evers tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ho swivels and escapes.
Lo Fat Ho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jan Evers.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Evers crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ho - the referee stops the clock and Evers gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ho. Evers manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Ho has Evers up against the cage in a clinch.

Ho looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Ho seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Evers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ho has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Evers has managed to get both his arms back between Ho's legs - danger averted.

Evers gets to his feet - Ho follows without any prompting.
Ho tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Ho darts in and clinches Evers up against the cage.

Evers can't break the clinch.
Evers is trying to break the clinch but Ho is controlling him.

Ho tightens his grip and picks Evers up, before dumping him to the ground. Evers manages to land in guard.
Evers wants to improve his position but instead Ho has moved into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ho stands up out of the half guard.
Ho lands with a nice body kick.

Ho forces Evers back against the cage and clinches.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ho breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Evers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ho swats him away and circles back towards the center.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Ho's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A lull in the action here as Ho stalls from top position.
Evers is trying to control Ho's posture but Ho avoids it.
Evers is breathing heavily.
Ho is looking to take a break and control but Evers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ho throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ho misses with a takedown attempt - Evers sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Evers tries to keep at a distance but Ho has taken the fight into the clinch.
Evers has had enough of the clinch but Ho keeps him there for the moment.

Ho pulls guard successfully.
Evers trying to control the position from guard on top but Ho is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Evers looking to sit in guard and control but Ho gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Evers has a closed guard, preventing Ho from standing up.

Evers looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Ho has picked Evers up and slammed him! Evers can't keep hold of the triangle and Ho manages to pass to side control!

Evers gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Ho is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Evers is just riding it out for now. Ho eventually gives up the hold.
Lo Fat Ho overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Ho is trying to control. Evers wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Ho thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Evers's head.
Ho seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Evers does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ho controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ho wants to take the fight to the mat but Evers manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Ho throws a right and a left that both miss.
Evers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ho swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ho misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Evers shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ho defends it nicely.
Evers takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Evers closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ho circles away.

Ho lands a nice looking kick to the body. Evers takes a step back to recover.

Evers gets caught napping as Ho dives in and scores a takedown. Evers manages to retain guard.

Evers is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ho pulls his head out easily.

Evers is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ho's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ho's back!
Ho controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
