Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bret Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hart's entrance music is The Sharpshooter. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Carwin throws a good cross that connects.
Bret Hart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hart looks for a takedown but Carwin sprawls well.

Carwin shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hart eats them both and turns towards Carwin to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Hart shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Carwin defends it nicely.

Carwin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Carwin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hart was well out of range. Poor timing from Carwin.

Hart takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Hart. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Hart shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Carwin pinned against the cage. Carwin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Hart has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hart there as he acknowledges the shot.

Carwin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Hart avoids the body shot from Carwin.
Carwin has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Carwin lands with an overhand left.
Hart takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Carwin just misses with a punch to the body.
Hart fails with the takedown.
Carwin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hart doesn't seem bothered though.

Hart is rocked!
Carwin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hart stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hart closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Oh Hart is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Carwin cracks Hart on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Hart falls backwards against the cage. Carwin follows up with more strikes that drop Hart to his knees. Carwin keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Hart! This one is all over!
