Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hezekiah Munson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kappa lands with a nice body punch.
Munson throws a push kick but Kappa slaps the foot to one side.
Munson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kappa but Kappa pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kappa lands with a nice combination. Munson backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Hezekiah Munson has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Kappa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Kappa changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kappa uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Munson has time to react.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Kappa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Munson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Munson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Munson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kappa to the ground. Munson is now in Kappa's guard.

Kappa thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Munson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kappa looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Munson throws an elbow but Kappa slips to the side and avoids it well.

Munson stands up over Kappa, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kappa looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Munson puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Munson uses his free foot to push down on Kappa's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kappa.

A determined Hezekiah Munson didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
