Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Giovanni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Giovanni comes to the cage accompanied by Til I Collapse [ Eminem ]. Kane is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Gang of Four - I love a Man in Uniform. Sonny Giovanni has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giovanni slips a jab from Kane.
Giovanni fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Giovanni moves in looking to clinch but Kane pushes him off.

A slapping leg kick lands for Giovanni.

Kane has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Giovanni finds it's way round the side to connect with Kane's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kane circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kane throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Giovanni fails with an attempt to clinch.
Giovanni throws a jab but it's blocked by Kane.

Kane gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Giovanni slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Kane wants to pass the guard but Giovanni is keeping the position.
Giovanni wants to stand but Kane is controlling the position.
Kane trying to control but Giovanni is working from the bottom.
Kane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Giovanni swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Giovanni is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Kane drops back looking for a leg! Giovanni is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Giovanni manages to kick Kane off! Kane jumps back into Giovanni's guard.
Giovanni seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Kane stands and throws Giovanni's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Giovanni knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kane on the ground.
The referee asks Kane politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Kane prefers to stall for the moment though.
Kane tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Kane laying and praying for a moment but Giovanni takes advantage and regains half guard.

Giovanni pushes Kane off and gets back to his feet.

Kane fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sonny Giovanni is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kane throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Giovanni.

That was a close round but I would say that Sonny Giovanni will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Kane throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Giovanni sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Giovanni walks into a left hand.
Giovanni swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kane.
Giovanni slips a jab and a cross from Kane.
Giovanni misses with a wild body shot.
Kane misses with a wild combination.
Giovanni misses with a leg kick
and Kane counters with a straight right hand.

Oooooh!!! Giovanni has knocked Kane down with a huge combo! Giovanni steps away and waves a wobbly Kane back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Kane is rocked!

Giovanni fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Kane out cold! Brutal finish!
